Scrambling, a particularly British mountain sport. More serious than walking, not as steep and technical as rock climbing. Very accessible and with many mountain walkers wanting something a little more exciting for their instagram feeds. Definitely a growing sport!

This year we asked Rhian out Cardiff University EPIC iBSC student to spend the year doing some research on Scrambling injuries. Whilst she is still waiting for her marks, we think this a lovely little project in an area of mountain research where there is little done.

She has also had it accepted as a poster at the International Society for Mountain Medicine conference later this year (sadly its a virtual one instead of a nice trip to Switzerland for all involved).

Well done Rhian
